On November 25, 2025, the online award ceremony and closing event of the 45th (2024) Global Management Challenge (GMC) International Finals was held. The 'Tian Sheng Yi Dui' team, mentored by Associate Professor Chen Weihong from China-ASEAN School of Economics and comprising Zhou Chaochao (postgraduate student from 2024 Finance Master Programme), Luo Huiying and Chen Yijie (postgraduate students from 2024 International Business Master Programme), and Tan Chengrong (postgraduate student from 2024 Finance Master Programme), demonstrated steady and determined performance in the finals, ultimately securing the runner-up position.

Introduction to the GMC China Division Team

A total of 12 national or regional teams from China, Russia, Portugal, Spain, Australia, India, and other countries or regions have qualified for the international semifinals of this event. Only six spots are available for the international finals, making the competition particularly fierce. The school's team stood out in the international semifinals (held online) from November 10 to November 14 and successfully advanced to the international finals. Ultimately, the Russian team, the Chinese team, and the Angolan team emerged victorious in the international finals, securing the championship, runner-up, and third place respectively.

The Global Management Challenge (GMC), an international business management simulation competition, is the world's largest multi-continental event officially accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). Originating in Europe in 1980, this annual international competition employs modern simulation training methods to elevate global standards in corporate management and business simulation education, while promoting standardized management practices worldwide.

The successful conclusion of this competition owes much to the strong support from the university's "Postgraduate Competency Enhancement Program" and the school's support. The school's high-quality platform has provided an excellent stage for participants to showcase their professional talents and hone practical skills.
