Abstract: Facing both external difficulties and internal pressures as well as development opportunities, border areas need to implement the strategic plan of the CPC Central Committee, identify the development orientation, clarify the development ideas, and change the development logic, so as to control and reshape the development pattern of border areas with high-quality development, and ensure the adequacy, balance, and comprehensiveness of development.Promoting high-quality economic development in border areas is conducive to promoting coordinated development among regions, accelerating the construction of a new development pattern of domestic and international double cycles, and promoting long-term harmony and stability in border areas.At present, there are still problems in the high-quality economic development of border areas. It is necessary to speed up the transformation of regional and policy advantages into development advantages by focusing on innovation-driven development, promoting coordinated development, emphasizing green development, giving full play to the advantages of border areas, and basing on fairness and inclusiveness, so as to lay a solid foundation for high-quality economic development.
